When it comes to communication, the deaf and hard of hearing depend on visual means. The Hearing Loss Association of America – Lakeland Chapter holds monthly Chapter meetings for its membership. To be successful, our Chapter meetings require real-time captioning. Susan and her team have graciously provided pro-bono CART (real-time captioning) services for all of our meetings. This service has assured that our members can understand all verbal communications and actively participate in the entire meeting.
